Paid Survey Scams

Below is a "short list" of Paid Survey scams. This section is still undergoing some construction due to the fact that Survey Scams take a little more research than GPT sites. Please check back regularly for updates.

Survey Scout

They promise you could make over $100/hour simply by filling out surveys. There is a $35.00 membership fee. When you log into your account all you will see is a very long list of paid survey sites and many of the links don't even work.

Viva Research
When I first registered for Viva Research I though it looked like a legitimate site, wrong. It really is just a way for a company to get your contact information so they can spend spam to your email. It is also very hard to get them to stop spamming, because they never reply to emails.

Panda Research 

Panda Research and Viva Research look almost exactly the same. They both offer you a free vacation if you join and both use the same sign up form. When I do a Who-is on their domain names I found that they are owned by different people. This leads me to believe that there are scripts that people can purchase that allow them to build a website so they can harvest emails to spend spam to. If you go to a website that offers a free vacation and has a lame registration I wouldn't sign up.


Survey Adventure

Survey Adventure is another site I recently came across that promises a list of over 300 market research companies. But when I signed up my email started to receive tons and tons of "survey offers". Most of these "survey offers" weren't for market research companies at all they were paid email sites and other kinds of schemes.

If you really want to see their list of companies I would recommend using a different email address then your main one.
